Michael Jackson and the world’s biggest superstars are synonyms. It is not a personal opinion, but it’s a fact. It’s not just MJ fans, but the world’s most reliable sources considered him “world’s biggest superstar.” Michael Jackson is inarguably the most successful and biggest entertainer the world has ever seen. They often compare a lot of artists with MJ only because they only compare you with the best. Well, let me clear an entertainer is someone who entertains us through any means. Actors, dancers, singers, performers, comedians, magicians, circus artists, etc. All fall under the category of entertainers. So, when they say Michael Jackson is the most successful and biggest entertainer, then they are mean he is the best among all.

Michael Jackson is unbeatable and untouchable when it comes to fame, stardom, wealth, achievements, and impact. Michael Jackson has always been his competitor. That’s why no other person broke his records than he. Let’s talk in detail why it is absurd to call anyone else “world’s biggest superstar” other than Michael Jackson.

FAME and STARDOM

According to Guinness World Records and various other sources, Michael Jackson is the world’s most famous person ever. We don’t read about him in books like we read about Einstein and Hitler but still! I mean ask anyone who is Michael Jackson and what does he do. Every person belonging to any community, race, sex and generation will tell you easily. Extremely backward tribes who don’t even know who is the president of the country recognize MJ easily. In some parts of the world, including my country, MJ is like a deity. The Kingdom of sanwi, a traditional Kingdom located in West Africa, declared him their king in 1992 and ever held a two days funeral for MJ after his passing. World’s most prominent newspapers and magazines, critics, writers told us very well who is the world’s biggest superstar.

Not to mention he sold out all the concerts with demands for more shows all around the globe. He is the most downloaded artist in the history of music. His fame is so big that sometimes they call him bigger than Jesus. Without the help of the internet, social media, or YouTube, he was still the most famous person on earth. Even though today, after eight years of his death, he is the most followed person from the 20th century and one of the most-followed people on Facebook. He gets millions of searches each year, and this is incredible that he is more popular than most of the artists out there today. Michael Jackson is undoubtedly the world’s biggest global megastar, biggest pop star in the world, most successful entertainer, most famous person of all time. His funeral is the most-watched funeral ever.

When he died in 2009, all websites crashed for hours; this happened the first time in the history of the internet. The news of Jackson’s death spread quickly online. Both TMZ and the Los Angeles Times suffered outages; Google believed the millions of people searching Michael Jackson was an attack. Twitter reported a crash. The Wikimedia Foundation reported nearly one million visitors to the article Michael Jackson within one hour. AOL Instant Messenger collapsed for 40 minutes. AOL called it a seminal moment in Internet history,’ adding, ‘We’ve never seen anything like it in terms of scope or depth.’ Around 15 percent of Twitter posts (or 5,000 tweets per minute) mentioned Jackson when the news broke. CNN reported a fivefold rise in traffic and visitors in just over an hour, receiving 20 million-page views in the hour the story broke.

During the same period, the three major U.S. networks’ evening newscasts–ABC’s World News, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News–devoted 34 percent of their broadcast time to him. According to an analysis released by the Global Language Monitor, “72 hours after his death, Jackson jumped to the No. 9 spot for the global print and electronic media. For Internet, blogs and social media, Jackson jumped to the No. 2, only trailing the election of Barack Obama to the presidency of the United States.

The news was huge! All the news channels were showing MJ related information for months. Newspapers, magazines, social media, MJ was all over. The whole world was crying over his death. We’ve lost many famous celebs but never seen something in life like this and will never see.

WEALTH

Since his passing, he is topping the list of highest-earning dead celebs each year. Michael Jackson doesn’t have a memorial place like Elvis Presley or Prince but still earning millions each year. According to Forbes, his net worth until 2009 was 2.8 billion. After his death, Estate earned two billion in 5 years and $825 million in 2016, making him the highest-paid celeb ever dead or alive. Michael Jackson is the wealthiest entertainer ever.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Michael is the most award-winning artist of all time. He has won prestigious awards like the Grammy Legend Award and the Diamond award. Jackson has also won awards that no other artist has. Apart from awards, he has numerous Guinness World Records.

It is hard to elaborate all of his achievements, but we know very well Thriller is still the biggest selling album of all time, with more than 120 million copies sold. Michael Jackson’s album sale is above 1 billion with just a few albums, and according to Billboard, no other has sold more albums than him since 2009. I would write about all of his achievements in a separate answer.

IMPACT

All the artists out there, whether famous or not, are inspired heavily by Michael Jackson. There’s a huge list of famous celebs who cited Michael Jackson as their biggest inspiration. His impact is not only limited to singers and dancers, but he inspires actors, writers, poets, wrestlers, and even ordinary people. Dancers worship him. He invented music videos and the music videos we have today is just because of him. He made dancing an essential part of the music videos. Stage presence and performances, live showmanship, style, attitude, fashion, music, dance, songwriting his impact is everywhere.

HUMANITARIAN ENDEAVORS

The thing I love most about Michael Jackson is his big heart and efforts that he did to change the world with not only his music dance and talent but with unconditional love, support, care, and giving. Jackson’s unconditional love is what makes him the biggest superstar in the world. He donated more than $500 million to charity and supported more than 39 charities throughout his life. Even today, his 10% earned goes to several charities. He not only made music for fun but to inspire people to do good and that is why the world recognized him as a sincere and most outstanding humanitarian, and they honored him with several humanitarian awards. I am going to write about his humanitarian endeavors in a separate answer. With not only just money but he helped people with his love and support, and it is just because of him that most of his fans are also doing a great thing on their own like some of them running NGOs, children hospitals, etc. and some are helping people in their small ways. Michael Jackson fans are incredibly humble and kind-hearted. They all believe in love, peace, and healing people.

EVEN AFTER NINE YEARS AFTER HIS DEATH, MICHAEL IS STILL RELEVANT

Michael Jackson is way more consistent than most of the alive or dead artists today. Thriller became the First ever album in 2017 to be certified 33× platinum. Michael is earning millions each year. He is selling millions of albums each year and so on. People still love him, enjoy his music, miss him and go great things in his name. He is still receiving a lot of honors and making records even after his arrival. Why? Because he is the biggest superstar. Stars will come and go, but there will never be another Michael Jackson.

MJ is the most successful entertainer of all time. He is the most successful among every goddamn entertainer. And he is at least ten times more successful than the 2nd most successful entertainer in the world. Can you beat it??
